Assets International, an asset recovery company specializing in locating missing heirs, mineral rights owners and other beneficiaries, is expanding its work in oil and gas in Oklahoma with the opening of a satellite office in Oklahoma City effective February 1, 2012. The announcement was made by Michael Zwick, President of Assets International.
“As our specialized work in locating mineral rights owners grows, it was a logical decision to open a satellite office in Oklahoma and have a visible presence in that region where all the key players in the gas and oil industry do business,” said Zwick.
Assets International has teamed up with Oklahoma-based attorney, Gabe Bass, managing partner of Bass Law. Bass is trial lawyer with considerable experience on matters involving probate, estates and trusts, energy law, and real estate. The new satellite office is located at 201 Robert S. Kerr, 10th Floor, Suite 1001, Oklahoma City, OK.
Established in 2001, Assets International built a reputable business on locating missing heirs and beneficiaries in probate proceedings. Last year, the company expanded its suite of services to include locating missing owners of mineral rights, whether they are for oil, gas or any other minerals.
Because many cases require the navigation of the legal system to find missing mineral rights owners, Assets International’s team includes several attorneys and legal assistants on staff specifically trained to find them.
The company offers two ways to utilize Assets International:
Option A – Contract with Missing Mineral Rights Owners
Assets
International will contract directly with the missing mineral rights
owners that we find. If we do not succeed at finding the missing
mineral rights owners, they do not receive a fee.
Option B – Contract with the Operator
The
operator retains Assets International to perform due diligence on a
pay-per-hour basis. In this case the company provides detailed reports
that will be admissible in a court of law or before government agencies.
In addition to the new Oklahoma office, Assets International has an affiliate in Tel Aviv and is headquartered in Southfield, Mich.
