Elizabeth Turton, President - After graduating from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Business Management, Elizabeth went on to graduate, Cum Laude, with a Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law. Elizabeth began her legal career practicing at a boutique family law firm in Peoria, Illinois. She and her husband then relocated to a suburb of Chicago and she continued her practice of family law. Elizabeth loved her family law practice but returned to her hometown in Michigan to start her family. Elizabeth was admitted to the Michigan Bar and entered private practice in Michigan prior to joining Assets International in early 2013 as an associate attorney. In early 2015, Elizabeth assumed the position of Vice President of Assets International putting her management training to good use. After over ten years with Assets International, Elizabeth was appointed President of Assets International, effective January, 2024. As President, Elizabeth supervises the legal team as well as multiple aspects of the asset recovery process from handling descendant estates to drafting and review asset recovery documents. Elizabeth enjoys solving the puzzle that each new case brings. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys volunteering at school, playing fetch with her dogs and diving into a good book.
