Southfield-based Assets International LLC (www.assets-international.com), an assets location company and a global leader in finding missing or unknown heirs, announced that it has located a missing heir in Florida due a substantial amount of money.
George Pachis, a self-employed painter in Union Park, Florida had heard his Mother mention the name of a distant relative, an aunt, but really never knew her. Yet, it was after his aunt’s passing he was informed by Assets International that he was an heir to a portion of her estate.
“This came out of the blue,” Pachis said, describing his reaction when told of his windfall by Assets International President Michael Zwick. “It could not have come at a better time.”
Like many people, the recession has hit Pachis’ business hard. The extra money from this inheritance will be used to help him keep his business afloat and purchase some new painting supplies.
Zwick, whose company specializes in finding what he affectionately refers as “needles in the haystack,” like Pachis, says it is gratifying to find these missing heirs, especially those who are hard workers simply trying to make ends meet. In addition to locating missing or unknown heirs, Assets International has successfully reunited family members who have not seen each other in years.
